Governor Scott Highlights Jobs at Hot Pandeyuca (en Inglés)

Governor Rick Scott highlighted job growth at Hot Pandeyuca, a successful bread factory that also specializes in making traditional Colombian baked goods. Hot Pandeyuca started with only three employees and now employs nearly 30 Floridians.

Governor Scott said, “Hot Pandeyuca is a great example of the American Dream. The bread factory started with only three employees and quickly grew to employ nearly 30 Floridians. I applaud businesses like Hot Pandeyuca for making their products in Florida and supplying to retailers all across the nation. I look forward to seeing Hot Pandeyuca continue to grow right here in Florida.”

Founded in 1998, Hot Pandeyuca produces Colombian baked goods using over 100-year-old recipes. The company produces 20 different products and all are made with natural ingredients. Hot Pandeyuca services more than 200 clients. Their best seller is their “pan de bono,” and they produce 56,000 of these bread rolls daily.

David Alfandary, Hot Pandeyuca’s owner said, “I started this company when I first arrived in Miami from Colombia and through hard work and dedication we now employ nearly 30 workers who are all like family. We are very proud to continue to grow our business right here in Florida and thank Governor Scott for his dedication to our state.”
